The 7 Best Vibrators of 2025, Tested And Reviewed By Sex Experts

Look no further for your next bedroom bestie.

It’s Pride Month, a.k.a. the perfect time to celebrate your sexuality with a new pleasure product. In 2025, there are so many different types of vibrators, from sleek wands to high-tech clitoral suction vibrators to wearable toys for couples, that your O-inducing options are pretty much limitless. But you don’t need to waste time sifting through every site’s offerings, Women’s Health has the editor-tested, sex therapist-approved rundown of the best vibrators of all time.

In fact, a vibrator is one of the most important purchases you can make for your sexual health—which is really “an essential piece of your overall health,” says somatic therapist and sex therapist Holly Richmond, PhD, associate director of Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. “Masturbation has a lot of health benefits beyond just pleasure.”

Orgasms, specifically, can boost your mood, improve your quality of sleep, and even improve immune function, Richmond adds. And “the research is very clear: Women who use vibrators have easier and more frequent orgasms,” says psychologist and sex therapist Laurie Mintz, PhD, author of Becoming Cliterate. Why? Vulvas have “special receptors for vibrations,” Mintz explains, so using a vibrator can actually provide a type of stimulation that your vulva loves but can’t get from a human hand, tongue, or penis. Plus, from a medical standpoint, vibrators work mechanically by enhancing blood flow and relaxing muscles—basically, you reap the benefits of a massage on your erectile tissue.

So, how do you know which product to pick? Women’s Health consulted four sex therapists and an OB-GYN, and 14 editors and contributors anonymously tested more than 60 of the buzziest vibrators (pun intended, obviously) to find the 7 best bedside companions—and a few alternatives—for every sensation preference, budget, and sexual need.

Lelo is generally considered the gold standard of sex toy brands, and experts agree. “Not only are they beautiful, but they seem to be curved very nicely to fit contours of the body,” says sex therapist Debra Laino, author of The Missing Link. Lelo’s vibrators are designed to feel like a luxurious experience, and while they usually cost a pretty penny, the brand is currently celebrating International PRIDE Month with major discounts on their products.

No product lives up to the Lelo’s high quality standards more than the Lelo Enigma Double Sonic, the latest in the brand’s line of dual stimulation vibrators. Like the Lelo Enigma and Enigma Wave, this newest toy offers powerful sonic wave stimulation on the clitoris. But it also features DeepSonic™ technology, designed to stimulate the orgasmically potent A-spot (sometimes called the female prostate), located slightly behind the G-spot. Believe the hype: One Women’s Health editor tested the toy and said, “I’ve never experienced a vibrator like this before. It gave me one of my most powerful—and long-lasting—orgasms ever.”

A “longtime fan of clitoral suction vibes,” our tester was surprised by just how deep she felt the pulsing sonic waves stimulate her clit. “We so often think of the clit as just that little nub on the outside of our body, but this vibrator gets deep into the clitoral tissue—I felt it all over,” they said.

“I’ve never experienced a vibrator like this before.”

Crystal Duo is fully waterproof so users can bring their blended orgasm into the shower.

Crystal Duo stands out with its Crystal Weight Ball Chamber, which optimizes traditional pelvic muscle training. This unique feature induces natural contractions and gradually builds your vaginal tone, making it a practical, no-nonsense approach to Kegel exercises that is worth spreading.
Crystal Duo is more than just Kegel exercises, it also allows you to get endless sexual pleasure. Control the Crystal Duo vibrator with your device, adjust the various modes at will, or let your partner take over while you chat. Synchronize the vibrations with your favorite music or even use SyncMo video calls. Crystal Duo transforms your intimate moments into sensual and fun adventures!

“If you have your best orgasms when there is something in your vagina and something touching your clitoris, a rabbit is going to be for you,” says Richmond. These toys feature two arms: one that goes inside of you, and a second that rests against your clitoris. Usually, the two arms have different speeds and motions, Richmond adds, which can allow you to mix things up during playtime. Of all the rabbit vibrators that Women’s Health tested, our editors found the We-Vibe Nova 2 to be the top choice—in fact, one tester described it as their “absolute favorite vibrator of all time.”

Wand vibrators are a favorite for many people with vulvas, simply because they offer “pretty intense” sensations, says Richmond. And WH’s reviewers agree that the Magic Wand is the best of the best, thanks to its unparalleled power.

One Women’s Health editor described the Magic Wand Rechargeable as “the gold standard” of wand vibrators. “The Magic Wand is the only vibrator that lives full-time on my nightstand, and no matter how many other toys I try, nothing can replace it,” they said. “The strength of this vibrator is its strong suit—so much so that I never need the highest level. Even on the second setting, I can use this vibe through my jeans and still get the job done.”

The Magic Wand’s large head and rumbly vibrations make it one of the most powerful vibrators on the market.

Our tester also loved using the Magic Wand with a partner. “The long handle makes it easy to position between bodies during partnered sex, and the large head makes it easy for another person to aim without worrying about getting to the exact right spot,” they added. They did initially worry that the rechargeable model wouldn’t be as strong as the Magic Wand Original, but noted that “each charge lasts for ages,” and you can also use the vibrator while it’s plugged in.

“Even on the second setting, I can use this vibe through my jeans and still get the job done.”

That said, another Women’s Health tester found this vibrator to be too strong. “I can see why the Magic Wand is a classic. It’s a real workhorse of a vibrator,” they said. “But for me, it felt a little clunky and too intense.” The Magic Wand also isn’t waterproof—so if you’re looking for a vibrator that can get wet and wild (and don’t mind vibrations that are a little less powerful), consider another option, like the Dame Com.

Suction vibrators aren’t for everyone, notes Richmond. But if you like the feeling of receiving oral sex, you’ll want to invest in one of these high-tech toys. They use sonic air technology to stimulate the clitoris through pulsations as opposed to vibrations. This sensation often feels like receiving oral sex, says Richmond, but is less ideal if you like to grind against your toy.

Ultimately, WH’s reviewers found the Womanizer Premium 2 to be the best and most discreet suction vibrator on the market. “The Womanizer Premium 2 is super easy to use and intuitive, and I liked the patterns. The feel was also very luxurious,” said one reviewer.

They also praised Womanizer’s unique Smart Silence feature, which prompts the toy to turn on and off automatically, depending on whether it’s pressed to (or removed from) a person’s body: “I was impressed; I’ve never had a toy that did that before! It went quiet when not in contact with skin, which definitely helped keep it discreet.”

Another reviewer agreed. “I really loved that it works by just touching your body—I cannot emphasize that enough,” they said. They noted that this feature made the toy “incredibly sexy” to use during solo and partnered play, as they didn’t have to pause a session to turn it on and off.

“A bedside staple.”

While Women’s Health testers also loved the Dame Aer and Lelo Sona 2 Cruise, they ultimately found that these toys—along with many other suction vibrators—were louder than the Womanizer’s model, which makes the Premium 2 stand out. That said, one reviewer wished the Premium 2 were more compact. “It’s definitely on the larger side, so probably not one you want to pack on an overnight trip, but it’s still certainly a bedside staple,” they said. “I loved it.”

G-spot vibrators are pretty self-explanatory: They’re toys designed to target the G-spot, or the erogenous zone located about one to two inches deep in the vaginal canal. But shopping for a G-spot vibrator can be slightly harder. Our reviewers found many products to be too girthy, or not girthy enough, to be fully satisfying. But one tester noted that the Lelo Gigi 3—which has an insertable length of 3.5 inches and a tapered, soft head—was large enough to feel good, but not too intimidating, especially for first-timers.

“The slightly-curved shape was perfect for hitting my G-spot,” raved one Women’s Health editor. “Plus, the texture felt totally luxurious: The body-safe silicone is super soft, sleek, and smooth.” They specifically loved how versatile this vibrator was to use, noting that “the flat end of the vibrator head is perfect for a warm-up clit massage before turning up the heat with a G-spot orgasm.”

Our reviewer also enjoyed syncing this toy with the Lelo app because it was not only easy to toggle between the eight different vibration modes, but it allowed her to unlock two additional modes as well. “When using the app, learning the names of the different modes (such as ‘Stimulated,’ ‘Overjoyed,’ and ‘Exhilarated’) helped me better select which one I was most interested in. Plus, the app-exclusive modes, like ‘Finish Me Off’ and ‘Out Of Control,’ DEFINITELY performed as advertised, leading me to one of my longest and most unique orgasms yet,” she said. But the manual buttons were also “very intuitive” to use as well, the tester added, explaining that it was easy to increase or decrease vibration intensity and turn the toy on and off with or without the Lelo app.

Plus, the Gigi 3 is surprisingly quiet, even when turned up to its most powerful setting, our reviewer said, and totally waterproof, a feature she plans to take full advantage of during her next “everything shower.”

“The slightly-curved shape was perfect for hitting my G-spot.”

TL;DR? “This vibrator totally did its job of getting me to a deeper, more fulfilling orgasm,” the WH editor said. “And while this is a beginner-friendly vibe, it’s also a great option for anyone who’s more experienced with G-spot sex toys. Thanks to all the different app-enabled modes, you’ll never get bored.”

But for those who might want more stimulation options—without downloading a separate app—the Hot Octupuss Kurve is another top-rated vibrator tested by the WH team. With a whopping 25 vibration combinations, it features a contoured shape similar to the Lelo Gigi 3, and is also quiet and waterproof. This vibrator “felt like a massage chair for my vagina,” according to another tester. “It sounds weird, but was incredible.”
